In this rewarding role, you will assist patients with their daily living activities in the comfort of their own homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping or laundry.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by the supervising nurse.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Current state background check and clear TB test.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience in home care preferred but not mandatory.
