Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming to ensure patient dignity and comfort.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercise to ensure patient safety and prevent falls.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient health, mood, or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary, adhering to specific dietary restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry as assigned to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their mental well-being.
- Transport patients to medical appointments and errands as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred; candidates with experience will be prioritized.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
