Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercise routines to ensure patient safety.
- Monitor and report patient health changes, vital signs, and any unusual incidents to the nursing staff immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients to enhance their quality of life.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by the supervising nurse.
Qualifications
- Current Texas Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Physical ability to lift and assist patients up to 250 lbs.
