Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility support and ambulation
- Prepare nutritious meals and monitor dietary needs
- Administer medications as prescribed and document vital signs
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Light housekeeping and laundry services
- Companionship and emotional support
- Maintain accurate client care records
Qualifications
- Valid New York State HHA certification required
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Fluent in English (Spanish speakers encouraged)
