Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
- Monitor and report changes in patient's physical or emotional condition to the nursing supervisor.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Accompany patients to medical appointments and accompany them on errands as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable work ethic.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients as necessary (up to 50 lbs).
