Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients to improve their mental well-being.
- Transport patients to medical appointments and run errands as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and safety.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current state certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely (up to 50 lbs) if required.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
