Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to clinical supervisors
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance client wellbeing
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of adaptive equipment
- Administer prescribed medications under RN supervision
- Maintain accurate client records and care documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Physical stamina to assist with transfers and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal communication skills
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Willingness to complete state-mandated HHA training program
