Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Monitor clients' health status, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Administer medications and remind clients to take their prescriptions at the scheduled times.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to improve the client's quality of life.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and changing bed linens.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands using a personal vehicle.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Arizona Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor.
- Ability to lift and assist patients weighing up to 250 pounds.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
