Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure comfort during treatments
- Assist dentists with chairside support during complex procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
- Maintain strict sterilization protocols for all instruments
- Manage patient records and digital scheduling systems
- Provide post-operative care instructions and follow-up
- Order and inventory dental supplies efficiently
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- PA state radiology certification mandatory
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or DentalWorks software
- CPR certification (BLS) must be current
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
