Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Take dental impressions and develop X-rays
- Manage patient scheduling and digital records
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Order inventory and maintain supply organization
- Train new team members on clinic protocols
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Experience with Eaglesoft/Dentrix software preferred
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and reliable transportation
