Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary draws with precision and a focus on patient comfort.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols (OSHA standards).
- Prepare and label blood specimens accurately for laboratory analysis.
- Greet patients, explain procedures, and ensure a positive, professional patient experience.
- Manage and inventory medical supplies and laboratory equipment.
Qualifications
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
