Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical cases
- Take and develop diagnostic dental radiographs
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide monitoring
- Maintain strict OSHA/CDC sterilization protocols
- Manage digital patient records and treatment planning
- Oversee inventory and ordering of dental supplies
- Train new dental assistants on office protocols
Qualifications
- Current DANB certification or Arizona dental assistant license
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography (DEXIS/Sirona)
- Experience with Eaglesoft practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and instruments
- Exceptional patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
