Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments per OSHA standards
- Assist dentists during procedures including chairside support and instrument transfer
- Take and develop dental radiographs with digital imaging systems
- Manage patient flow, scheduling, and documentation using Eaglesoft software
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Order inventory and maintain supply chain efficiency
- Assist in infection control protocols and emergency management
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-issued)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- X-ray certification and radiography proficiency
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Experience with Eaglesoft/DEXIS practice management software
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends
