Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols
- Manage patient records using dental software (EHR experience preferred)
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
- Provide post-procedure instructions and patient education
- Maintain clean, organized treatment rooms and equipment
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska Dental Assistant certification or eligibility
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a dental office
- Proficiency in dental radiography techniques
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software
