Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and endodontic treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and patient comfort
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials efficiently
- Perform accurate charting and documentation using digital systems
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Support front desk operations including scheduling and insurance verification
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (CODA or DANB preferred)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong understanding of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification and Arizona dental radiography permit
