Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility transfers and safe ambulation
- Prepare nutritious meals and monitor dietary needs
- Administer prescribed medications accurately
- Document client care progress and report changes
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment
Qualifications
- Valid Alaska Home Health Aide certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathetic approach to elderly/disabled care
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
