Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Perform vital signs measurements and EKGs
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Sterilize equipment and prepare exam rooms
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule appointments
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA/NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure settings
- Basic phlebotomy and venipuncture skills
