Responsibilities
- Manage patient intake, check-ins, and appointment scheduling using Epic EMR
- Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays accurately
- Coordinate referrals and manage medical records documentation
- Assist with front desk operations including phone triage and message routing
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year medical front desk/reception experience
- Proficiency with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance protocols
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent (AA degree preferred)
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional weekends
