Responsibilities
- Provide advanced patient care in ICU/ER units across Atlanta's leading hospitals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care procedures
- Adhere to JCAHO and hospital-specific safety protocols
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment
- Maintain sterile environments during procedures and interventions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Georgia or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience (ICU/ER preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- BSN degree or higher preferred
- Experience with Epic/Cerner EMR systems
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility for 12-hour shifts and rotating schedules
