Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments and determine acuity levels in emergency settings
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to prioritize patient flow
- Utilize EHR systems to document assessments and critical interventions
- Provide initial stabilization and life-saving interventions as needed
- Coordinate patient transfers and consults with specialty services
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and emergency department protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years ER or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Excellent triage assessment and critical decision-making skills
- Strong communication abilities during high-pressure situations
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
