Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments using standardized triage protocols
- Prioritize patients based on acuity and resource availability
- Collaborate with physicians and ER staff on care plans
- Document assessments and interventions in EHR systems
- Provide clear communication to patients and families
- Oversee patient flow in high-volume emergency settings
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and state regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
