Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments using ESI (Emergency Severity Index) protocols
- Oversee triage flow for 50+ daily ER arrivals in high-volume setting
- Collaborate with physicians to prioritize critical cases
- Maintain accurate EHR documentation with 100% compliance
- Train new staff on triage procedures and crisis protocols
- Implement infection control measures during peak flu seasons
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license with minimum 2 years ER experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Expertise in rapid assessment of pediatric/adult populations
- EMR proficiency (Epic/Cerner preferred)
- Spanish bilingual certification strongly preferred
- Proven ability to maintain composure in high-stress scenarios
- BSN degree or higher (MSN candidates encouraged)
