Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields and equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Ensure proper sterilization and handling of all surgical instruments
- Monitor inventory and restock operating rooms with provided equipment
- Document surgical procedures accurately in electronic health records
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA and sterile processing protocols
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 1 year recent operating room experience
- Knowledge of sterile processing and instrumentation
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Current BLS certification
- Experience with provided surgical equipment systems preferred
