Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical history to determine urgent care priorities
- Triage incoming calls and patients using established protocols and clinical judgment
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient flow
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide education and support to patients regarding treatment options
- Monitor patient conditions and escalate critical cases immediately
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio
- Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations
