Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize care urgency using evidence-based triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient flow
- Document clinical assessments accurately in EMR systems
- Provide compassionate patient education and discharge instructions
- Monitor vital signs and initiate emergency interventions when required
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- Minimum 3 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
- Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) preferred
