Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps across quantum, AI, and biotech domains
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends and competitive landscapes
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants and venture partnerships
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior innovators and foster a culture of calculated risk-taking
- Monitor ethical implications of breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (IEEE/Wired etc.)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science
- Experience securing federal innovation grants (DARPA/NSF)
- Fluency in scenario planning and futures forecasting methodologies
- Prior startup or corporate innovation lab leadership
