Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Manage digital imaging systems (X-rays, intraoral cameras)
- Sterilize equipment and maintain OSHA compliance protocols
- Train new assistants on practice workflows and software
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize appointment schedules
- Assist with treatment documentation and insurance processing
Qualifications
- CDA/RDA certification required (California)
- Minimum 3 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Expertise in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Spanish fluency a significant plus
