Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants and orthodontics
- Advanced sterilization protocols and infection control management
- Digital radiography and intraoral imaging expertise
- Patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Maintaining OSHA compliance and safety standards
- Training and mentoring junior dental assistants
- Coordination with insurance companies and treatment planning
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA license required
- Minimum 5 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Advanced knowledge of dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- X-ray certification (HI State Board)
- Experience with CAD/CAM systems preferred
- Exceptional communication and patient rapport skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
