Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants and restorations
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Implement sterilization protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Train and mentor new dental assistants on clinical workflows
- Coordinate patient education on oral hygiene procedures
- Maintain digital patient records and inventory management
- Assist in emergency dental protocols and sedation procedures
Qualifications
- Current Washington State Dental Assistant certification
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Advanced knowledge of infection control protocols
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and radiography
- Exceptional patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple procedures simultaneously
