Responsibilities
- Perform advanced chairside assisting during complex procedures including implant placement and orthodontics
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Execute infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Train and mentor new assistants on clinical workflows and technology
- Assist in treatment planning coordination with dentists and hygienists
- Manage inventory and ordering for clinical supplies and equipment
- Provide exceptional patient education on post-procedure care
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience with advanced certifications
- Current DANB certification or CO Dental Assistant license
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Experience with CAD/CAM systems and digital impressions
- CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
