Responsibilities
- Perform advanced chairside assisting during complex restorative and surgical procedures
- Manage digital radiography systems and intraoral imaging with precision
- Execute infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants on clinical workflows
- Coordinate treatment planning with dentists and administrative staff
- Maintain digital patient records using Eaglesoft software
- Assist in inventory management of dental materials and equipment
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or Kentucky Board)
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and CAD/CAM systems
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance
- Exceptional communication and patient rapport skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments
