Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care during overnight hours, including assistance with daily living activities
- Monitor vital signs and document patient information accurately in electronic health records
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and maintain a clean, safe patient environment
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations following established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and facility safety standards
Qualifications
- Active DC CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Current CPR certification and ability to maintain
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
