Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Manage digital radiography systems and intraoral imaging with precision
- Oversee sterilization protocols and infection control compliance
- Train new assistants on practice workflows and equipment
- Execute chairside four-handed dentistry with seamless efficiency
- Coordinate patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Maintain immaculate operatory preparation and instrument management
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Excellent communication skills for patient interactions
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced settings
- Associate's degree in Dental Assisting preferred
