Responsibilities
- Assist in complex dental procedures including implant placements and orthodontic adjustments
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants
- Operate digital radiography and CAD/CAM systems
- Optimize patient flow and chairside efficiency
- Manage inventory and ordering for dental supplies
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for specialized procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of dental assisting experience in a high-volume practice
- Current Texas Dental Assistant License and DANB certification
- Advanced knowledge of dental radiography and infection control
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft and digital imaging software
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Exceptional chairside communication skills
- Experience with pediatric and sedation dentistry preferred
