Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including implant placements and restorative treatments
- Manage digital radiography (CBCT) and intraoral imaging systems
- Oversee sterilization protocols and inventory management for 8-operatories
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants on best practices
- Implement HIPAA compliance protocols and patient data security
- Coordinate treatment planning with specialists and referring dentists
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania Dental Assistant Radiology License (DAR)
- Minimum 3 years experience in general/specialty dental practice
- Certification in Dental Assisting (DALECC or DANB preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of digital workflows (Epic, Eaglesoft)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Proven patient education and case presentation skills
- Strong attention to infection control standards
