Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical cases
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Oversee sterilization protocols and infection control compliance per OSHA standards
- Coordinate patient flow and chairside efficiency across 5 operatories
- Train and mentor new dental assistants on clinic protocols and software systems
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Deliver exceptional patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA credential required
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft practice management software
- DEXIS digital radiography certification preferred
- BLS/CPR certification current
- Exceptional communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
- Proven ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of HIPAA and dental insurance protocols
