Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implant placements and restorative dentistry
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory protocols
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Train new dental assistants on practice workflows and technology
- Deliver exceptional patient education on post-procedure care
- Coordinate with insurance specialists on treatment documentation
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required with 3+ years clinical experience
- Expertise in dental radiography and infection control protocols
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft practice management software
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Knowledge of Maryland dental board regulations
