Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Manage digital imaging systems (CBCT, intraoral cameras)
- Oversee sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
- Train new assistants on practice workflows and technologies
- Prepare treatment rooms and specialized equipment
- Assist with patient education and case presentations
- Maintain digital patient records and treatment plans
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Dental Assistant Radiology license
- 3+ years clinical experience in cosmetic/restorative dentistry
- Certification in expanded functions (EFDA)
- Mastery of digital impression systems (iTero, TRIOS)
- Exceptional chairside communication skills
- Experience with digital practice management software
- BLS/CPR certification
- Portfolio showcasing complex case assistance
