Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontics
- Perform chairside duties including instrument transfer and suction management
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage sterilization protocols and maintain OSHA compliance
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal infection control
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft software
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in Oklahoma
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
