Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for efficient dental procedures
- Assist dentists during complex treatments including restorative and surgical procedures
- Manage digital radiography systems and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Maintain sterile environments and OSHA protocols
- Train junior staff on clinical workflows and equipment
- Coordinate patient education and post-operative care instructions
- Manage inventory and ordering for dental supplies
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Colorado Radiology license required
- 3+ years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- X-ray certification and CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with CAD/CAM systems preferred
