Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants and orthodontics
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Implement sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering for 5+ operatories
- Mentor junior staff and coordinate clinical workflows
- Execute digital impressions and CAD/CAM restorations
- Assist with patient education and treatment planning coordination
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania Dental Assistant License (DANB or PDA)
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Certification in nitrous oxide monitoring and CPR
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft practice management software
- Experience with digital radiography (Schick, Carestream)
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Exceptional patient communication and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
