Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including examinations, fillings, and extractions
- Perform sterilization and instrument preparation using OSHA protocols
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital radiography systems
- Manage patient records and scheduling software
- Provide chairside support and patient education
- Monitor inventory and order dental supplies
- Maintain clean, organized treatment rooms
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, scheduling software)
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain during training
- Attention to detail and infection control awareness
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation
