Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with advanced imaging systems
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization of instruments exceeding OSHA standards
- Train new assistants on practice workflows and compliance procedures
- Coordinate patient education on post-operative care and preventive dentistry
- Maintain digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Current Texas RDA license or DANB certification required
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal date
- Advanced knowledge of dental radiography and infection control protocols
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred
