Responsibilities
- Perform advanced chairside assistance during complex procedures including implants and orthodontics
- Manage digital radiography systems and intraoral imaging with precision
- Oversee sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance for 5 operatories
- Train new assistants on practice-specific workflows and technologies
- Coordinate seamless patient flow between hygiene and restorative departments
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and treatment documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience in cosmetic/restorative practice
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA license required
- Expertise in digital radiography and practice management software
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and emergency procedures
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced specialty environment
