Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance for complex dental procedures including implants and orthodontics
- Manage sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging
- Lead patient education on oral hygiene procedures
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies
- Train and mentor new dental assistants
- Coordinate with specialists and laboratories
Qualifications
- Active Florida Dental Assistant license
- 2+ years of experience in a high-volume practice
- Certification in radiography and coronal polishing
- Expertise in digital imaging systems (e.g., Dexis, Schick)
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner
- CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software
