Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and verify dosages
- Manage inventory control and ordering of pharmaceutical supplies
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records
- Train and mentor junior pharmacy technicians
- Ensure compliance with DEA and HIPAA regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Coordinate with pharmacists on medication therapy management
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in North Carolina
- 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience
- PTCB certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of prescription processing systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency with pharmacy software
