Responsibilities
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Prepare and dispense prescription medications with 100% accuracy
- Manage inventory control, ordering, and stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and resolve billing discrepancies
- Train staff on new technologies and procedures
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records
- Collaborate with pharmacists on clinical services
Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license
- Minimum 2 years retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- CPhT certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong attention to detail and math skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
