Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications with precision and adherence to HIPAA protocols
- Lead inventory management and pharmacy supply chain optimization
- Train and supervise 3-5 pharmacy technicians
- Process insurance claims and third-party billing
- Conduct quality assurance checks and compounding preparations
- Maintain sterile compounding environments
- Collaborate with pharmacists on clinical initiatives
Qualifications
- PTCB or ExCPT certification required
- 2+ years retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Texas Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong knowledge of DEA and FDA regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
