Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons during complex procedures with instrument handling
- Maintain sterile field integrity throughout surgeries
- Inventory and manage surgical supply chains
- Train and mentor junior surgical tech staff
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and AORN standards
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 3 years of OR experience in specialty surgeries
- BLS certification with current CPR training
- Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Associate's degree in Surgical Technology preferred
- Experience with robotic surgical systems a plus
