Responsibilities
- Assess incoming patient calls and prioritize care based on urgency and medical necessity
- Provide expert clinical guidance to patients and healthcare providers
- Lead triage team through complex decision-making protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation in EHR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists for seamless patient transitions
- Develop and implement triage quality improvement initiatives
- Train and mentor junior triage staff
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana with minimum 5 years clinical experience
- BLS/ACLS certification; TNCC preferred
- Proven expertise in emergency/trauma triage protocols
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Leadership experience in healthcare settings
- Mastery of EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (MSN preferred)
